The blog posts have been few and far between lately, but only because we've been so very, very busy. Who has time to blog when you have to:
...hang out being adorable for hours on end...
...eat cupcakes...
...after blowing out the candle...
...and decorate the traditional Valentine's Day Tree. What, you didn't do a tree this year?
And then sometimes you have to hang out being adorable while wearing a jaunty chapeau...
...which is an advanced skill set.
Fletcher and I have been experimenting with his breakfast sandwiches lately. He's the creative director, I'm the cook. Pictured above: cheese, butter, peanut butter, and jelly on an English muffin.
Peanut butter, apricot jam and dill pickles on a whole-grain, flax-seed waffle.
He ate two.
Egg and cheese on a waffle. Actually, that one sounded kind of great.
He ate half the grapes and cheesy poofs served at Simon's third birthday party. "Fletcher, would you like some carrots?". "Not now, I'm working on these over here."
BEAR SUIT! And as if BEAR SUIT wasn't enough for one month, we've also:
...made some art al fresco with an old friend...
...practiced writing....
...and engaged in wanton destruction.
Surly, hipster guitar store employees pretty much melt when this boy walks in.
She takes her style tips from her brother.
It's all so exhausting, you just might fall asleep in your bumbo.
