Father's Day 2

For Dallas' first father's day, we went on a mini road-trip to Luckenbach, TX.

But first we started our day with a light breakfast. Here is Fletcher preparing to take on his Daddy's "Don Juan" taco at "Juan in a Million" taqueria. Valerie only lets the family go here on special occasions; she'd like it if her husband lived to see forty.

Ready to head out on the open road.

As the t-shirt says, "Everybody's Somebody in Luckenbach". We were here for Waylon Jenning's birthday celebration, but Fletcher decided that was time to go before the music started.

Under normal circumstances, we wouldn't let a baby play with a glass bottle. But Fletcher has always demonstrated such restraint and good judgment that we think it's okay in his case.

Speaking of good judgment...

Fletcher checks out the "greasy spoon" he's heard so much about at a cafe in Johnson City. It wouldn't be a road trip without a pie and cobbler stop, now would it?
