Nova Scotia, Part 1

Lunch at O'Hare on the way. This was how we "enjoyed" several of our meals. Some kids like to color; ours prefers to have us draw for him and then critiques our work. I believe that's a drawing of Copper below.

One of the many things that I love about my son is that he has yet to outgrow his tendency to look like Winston Churchill when he concentrates.

The good people at O'Hare leave carts just lying around, free for the asking.

Or so Fletcher tells us.

We spent our first day in Hallifax. The ferry ride in the harbor was a big hit.

Fletcher was very tired/

Fletcher was very merry/

He had gone back and forth all day on the ferry. (Apologies to Edna St. Vincent Millay)

We also explored the citadel, which has a cool moat.

But while ferries and moats are nice, you never forget your first love.
