For the third year in a row, we gathered with many of our friends for a pizza/beer/christmas lights tour in Hyde Park. Our first stop was at The Parlour, a hipster-ish pizza joint/bar with plenty of room for kiddos to roam, and a pool table to keep them more or less occupied while their parents dine.
This year, there was an added bonus: the parking lot was being used for a game of flag football played on unicycles.
This was very, very interesting.
Afterward, we headed over to 37th street to walk the "Very Hippie Christmas" trail of lights. Fletcher and his pal Aidan engaged in two of Fletcher's favorite hobbies: running and shrieking. Much thanks goes out to Aidan's daddy, Aaron, for herding them for much of the walk.

A vintage Santa was one of the most popular sights - I guess there's something to be said for the classics?
The classics are all well and good, but you know what's really cool? A lighted geodesic dome with bicycle wheel spotlights that you can spin. That's what's really cool.
This was very, very interesting.
Baby K relaxed in her decked out stroller and made big plans for next year's tour of lights...when she can join in on the running and the shrieking. Are you ready, Aaron?
