In May, the Rodeo dads all watched the kids for a day so we moms could spend some time together and could celebrate Mother's Day sans kiddos. They had a rollicking time at the Nature center dinosaur dig, while we chilled out at the Crossings day spa. Afterwards we all met up for dinner at Joe's.

"Dig, Boys, dig!"

Mike/Quinn, Dallas/Fletcher, Aaron/Aidan and Kyle/Zoe.

Then in June, the dads went the Great Austin Beer Festival and the moms watched the kids for the evening. Fletcher and Zoe had a pool party for two, and then the eight of us (moms and toddlers) went to Joe's for dinner.

When you find just the right hat to go with your playsuit, it really pulls an outfit together, you know?

The kids with Ms. Connie, the owner/manager of Joe's and the most toddler-tolerant business owner we know.

Lisa/Quinn, Mo/Zoe, me/Fletcher, and Jessica/Aidan.

The party really got going once we returned home.

Fletcher enjoyed an elaborate fruit plate that Lisa made for him.

Okay, technically it was for all the kids.

We moms enjoyed an after-dinner snack of our own.
