Fletcher helped prepare our Thanksgiving dinner "a little bit, but not a lot", as he likes to say.
We attempted to transform our Halloween tree into a Thanksgiving tree. That's the leaf family over on the right. They're hugging.
Mushroom pot pie, spiced mashed potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts with pecans, kale with almonds and cranberries, and stuffing with chestnuts and vegan sausage.
Dallas's first helping
Dairy-free pumpkin-hazelnut pie - it was kind of blah. We think that if we make it again we'll add a layer of dark chocolate on the bottom and maybe drizzle some on top. We're apparently now accepting cooking tips from our three year old.
Fletcher telling us the things he's thankful for. He announced: "I'm only going to talk about food this time." So for the record, he's thankful for sandwiches, berries, ice cream, and beans, but as he pointed out: "Really, I just like chocolate."
Fletcher suggested that Kranshaw is thankful for milk and pacifiers.
