Morning Outing

For Baby K's first coffeehouse experience, we took her to Progress, the same coffeehouse to which we took Fletcher when he was about a week old.

The best thing about Progress is that it is located directly across the street from the railroad tracks.  And one of the benefits of living in a city with terrible public transportation is that the trains don't run on the weekends, which means you can play on the tracks all day long if you like! Or at least until your parents drag you away.

Baby K doesn't seem to have recognized the enormity of this yet.

But big brother has! We played "Express and Local" for a very, very long time.

Next we went to the "Natural Gardener", the organic nursery with donkeys, goats and chickens..and wagons!

Finally, having a baby sister pays off.

I like when he really leans into it.
