Christmas at the Farm

A local farm, Crowe's Nest, had a Christmas festival. We met our Rodeo friends, Quinn, Lisa and Mike there.

They had ponies.

 And miniature donkeys.
And our favorite:  goats! They also have chickens, ducks, turkeys, racoons, owls, peafowl, llamas, sheep, coatis, quail, ostriches, emus and a ring-tailed lemur. But you know what really rocked?

The hayride! Why? Because it was pulled by a tractor!

 That's right...a tractor!

Can you stand it?

Fletcher and Lisa high-five to celebrate our good fortune.

A tractor!
It was right after we took this photo that Quinn politely tried to push Fletcher away from him.

It's also fun just to stroll the grounds and sip on a water cup. Please note that Fletcher is
wearing the lion jacket that he refused to wear at Halloween. He wears it all the time now,
hood and tail and all, with no complaints.
 I'm not bitter about that.

How could I be, when he's so very cute?

Even more fun: eating a chocolate chip cookie while watching a recalcitrant donkey try to shake Mary off his back during a Nativity play.
